The Indy most likely wants to see a valid monitor identifier
code on the 13W3 connector. I've had all sorts of problems in
the past even with 13W3-to-BNC cables that I had to chuck in an
"interposer" that fiddled the monitor ID bits in the cable (the
"interposer" in question came from a projection LCD).
