I know that the U2's onboard controlelr is 20MB/sec fast/wide; IIRC,  
there's only one SCSI SBUS card that can do 40 MB/sec, and it's diff, and  
has only an external connector.  So unless you're running an external  
drive cage in diff, or a tape library in diff, you're SOL.
