As in my recent post to geeks@, I'm using USB2, ZFS, and NFS to serve 
500GB of RAID-1 disk to my network from a Sun Blade 100. I bought the 
USB card for $20 or so, and it came right off Sun's HCL. I can look up 
the model number at home, if anyone wants me to.
