I should have mentionned that this was either an early Solaris Express
Developer Edition or Nevada B54 internal release, as he mentionned the
sun studio in his build, but my B54 was not bundled, I had to install
separately.

As for the realtek, isn't that the one?
rtls "pci10ec,8139"

It is in the DVD I linked to (Developer Edition).
