Well, I *hope* they're going to get used.  The same guy who I gave them
to also took a bunch of dead hardware for recycling, but was fairly
clear that he won't recycle it if it's still working.  I figured it was
better than continuing to haul around hardware that, realistically, I'm
never going to use again.
