When I got my Ultra5, U2's were still expensive.   I was upgrading
from a Sparc 20.  So the U5 was a pretty good upgrade.
It might not be the fastest system in the world, but it has served my
server needs for many years.  I use it as a NIS, NFS, time, MySQL,
and other server type applications.
So far, all the parts are readily available and cheap.
