Ouch! Psion used to be pretty good about repairing such faults but
you're too late by 2 years and 2 months :(

You could try googling for 'hinge repairs' as it appears some people
have done it (although not necessarily your problem).

Ancient but extremely popular. There is at least one place in the UK
that repairs Psion3's :-

But it's pretty expensive (B#86). If I were in that position I'd probably
hunt down a complete replacement on ebay uk (still tons available).
However it's worth waiting for a Psion3MX if you go that route.

Just found that Shift+Ctrl+E may exit the Time application. There is a
*lot* of information on Psions and OPL out there. OPL incidentally
isn't quite dead ... it's available as freeware for some Symbian
devices (although not my new E90 dammit).

Lovely PDAs ... my first PDA was a Psion3, and upgraded from that to a
Psion3c then a Psion 5 (with the original peeling rubber case). Never
got on well with the Psion 5 (due to the touchscreen making the
display horrible and the battery eating habit). Now I'm almost back with
my Nokia E90.

My colleague even has the earlier PsionII ... dating back to the 1980s.
And another colleague still uses her Psion3.
