[rescue] Best brains:  Dead keyboard ports on PC hardware

As was stated earlier there was a question of what to do if W2K asked for
drivers/input.  However if you had something on the "approved" hardware
list and the system recognized APM properly you could install the card,
have W2K do it's driver install thing, then use the single power button
push to have the APM shutdown the system cleanly.  Turning it back on
should allow W2K to then recognize the card and anything attached to it.

Just another $.02 worth of thoughts... ^_^
