For quite some time I used a RS/6000 43P-100 (PPC604 @ 100 MHz) running
NetBSD 1.6 as home firewall / router. It needed about 5..10% CPU to pump
packets at about 80 MBit/s from Ethernet to FDDI and vice versa.
