[rescue] Sun 13W3 cables

Hi,

I went to connect an LSA800 to one of my Sun boxes and
discovered all (!) my 13W3 cables are the same length!
Is there a longer cable version that is NOT an "extension
cord"?  Mine all seem to be ~3 ft (probably 1m).

Current plans are to cut the cord off one of my GDM500PS's
and attach an appropriate connector to *make* a longer
cable.  Aside from ensuring adequate shielding at the
connector site, anything else I should be wary of?
