[rescue] bulk erasing DLT tapes (or, more specifically, NOT)

Did you guys ever consider shredding services?  We have this massive
chunker/shredder thing that eats whole hard drives (it would probably
eat a fridge with no problem) that we use for tapes and other
recordable media.
