Ten years ago, my wife and I went to Germany and while in a college-age club I
noticed that everyone was drinking Budwiser. I asked about it, and they said
that everyone also was smoking Marlboro (red pack) cigarettes and wearing
Diesel jeans because they were "so popular in America".
It's funny, I can't stand Heinekin beer, but in the clubs here in America that
was what everyone else was drinking (10 years ago) I assume because it is "so
popular in Germany"...
Personally, I like Yuengling Lager (from Pennsylvania), but I don't have a
very discriminating pallet.
