Well as far as I remember it *said* "license" but yeah, it's basically
just a permit.

Exactly. All I had to do to get it was fill out paperwork and send them
$15 or something.

Interesting. I wonder if I can get them to re-issue a duplicate. Would
be neat to have it again to stick on the wall of the ham "shack".
