[rescue] SCA / SCA-2 interchangeable?

Hi gang,

I've done two hours of googling and haven't found concrete proof for myself.  
Can I plug SCA-2 drives into an SCA (orig) bus/connector without worry?  The 
host in question is an E250.  

I think all they did in SCA-2 is lengthen power/ground pins to provide power 
sequencing before data pin connection to reduce SCSI bus noise.  Can anyone 
factually confirm?
