[rescue] Compaq ES40

Today I went to the Princeton University Surplus Sale and picked up an  
ES40 Alphaserver for a good price.

It is complete, with 3 Fibre cards, a SCSI card, and a second Ethernet  
card, along with dual 9 gig SCSI drives and a CD-ROM drive...

Aside from Linux, what are my OS choices? I'd prefer free/media cost  
solutions...

The system powers up, tests 4 CPUs (does that mean it has 4 CPUs?),  
tests PCI and memory, then displays the SRM release.

It is in a rolling cabinet, about the size of an Sun E450...
