But you can find them cheap, if you look around. Anysystem.com once had a truckload of them, and I got a nice system (SB1K) for a few hundred dollars, but that was a few years ago...
As I recall, with systems like that, you are paying a premium for the RAM and CPU, as they are common to other, more expensive systems...

Seriously, as a desktop it doesn't make any real difference to me, but it is very odd (I wonder why they didn't just make the entire case that wide?
