This is why I'm sort of meta-agnostic.  The odds are overwhelmingly in 
favor of them *all* being wrong.

Yeah, heard that before.  It was challenging your adversary to either 
acknowledge you as a free man, or treat you as a slave (in which case 
you'd kill him).
