I've had problems with the dmfe network ports flaking out. (Lots of "TX
stall" errors and pauses and such  undesirable behavior.) Sun's solution
was to, uh, brng in a new V100 -- often with someone ele's sticky label
still on the front of the case! :7)

   If you don't mind the system's limitations, they do tend to chug
along. They are very much the Toyota Corolla of my Suns here at work.
(Mind, we're replacing a lot of them with LDOMs or Zones or Tx000s.)
