[rescue] serial port for ultra 24

at $work, the "unix" team has several ultra 24 workstations they have "never" hooked up because 1) they don't have dvi-i capable monitors and 2) they don't have serial ports.

me - I didn't get one 'cause I'm not blessed with the title "unix admin" - I'm a lowly storage guy <grin>.

anyway - trying to help the guys get the boxes at least set up - has anybody put a pci serial card in one of these & got it to work as a recognized console?
