I did that once, and put 1 Gig ram in the Ultra 5 too.  Had to pull the floppy, and it had blocked PCI slots, and I had to muck around with some of the internal metal to get the bigger parts to fit in it.  I ran it like that for quite a while.  It made a nice home server.
