Well, there is also the Intel/FreeBSD kool-aid.  That at least has ZFS,
D-Trace, and a growing dose of LLVM.  Does the FreeBSD team have the
skill to continue ZFS/D-Trace if Oracle stops making updates to the open
source version though?
