I love my Macs, but OS X has none of the charm Indigo Magic had. I concede
that OS X is IMD's replacement for the best desktop throne though.

Hahahaha. I had that one mostly figured out. Every version of every Irix os CD
I had at work, and every version of software we used- all dumped on a big NFS
share.
Once I got that figured out, running a bunch of SGI boxes was the most fun I
ever had with computers.
Then, the workstations started to disappear and these ugly, grossly-curved,
cheap grey-and-black things from Round Rock Texas started showing up, running
some OS pretending to be Unix.
Then our Origin was replaced with no-name P4s on Infiniband.
Then I left.
