I'm running 147 gig FC drives in my A5000's. Works fine. I'm not using Solaris though - I'm running Linux. The A5000's appear to the system as a whole pile of disks. Host machine is an E4500. Software RAID on Linux seems to work well with them - and the throughput is good.
