[rescue] 3ware raid

Anyone here ever dealt with 3ware 9550SX-8LP ?

I made the mistake of flashing it with the latest firmware I could find 
from LSI.... and
now my machine doesn't even POST with the card inserted.... it is acting 
like a loop
as every so often the cdrom busy light flashes.... but no POST....

I haven't been able to find anything good so far on the net.

hopefully with the broad range of experience on the group someone will 
have seen
this before and can save this card from becoming gold scrap....
