Certainly true (I personally don't think an AA counts as a "Computer Science"
degree), but keep in mind that there were plenty of management people who
believed that NT4 was just as good as UNIX.

In a less drastic comparison it does seem that the current rates for Solaris
service make it much harder to make a case for Solaris than it used to, when
they were only a couple of hundred dollars for a base server..
