I recently picked up an Intel server mid-tower with a Xeon X3210 quad
core, 4 GB ECC ram and a promise sata raid card for $200 off a local
classifieds site. It will run the latest and greatest versions of OSX if
I so desire, and it's quite a bit faster than a G5 while using less
power. It's amazing what not having an apple logo on a machine does to
the price of the hardware!
