[rescue] Obscure SGI thing

It sounds like a prototype SGI MultiLink, which was used to convert DVI
(analog or digital) to the LVDS used by the 1600SW monitor.

I would ask this on Nekochan, maybe someone there knows what "Droid" was a
codename for.

I don't know what the thrift store was charging for it, but MultiLinks still
have some value (they're one of the few ways to drive a 1600SW from a modern
computer). And being a very rare prototypeI'm sure someone would pay good
money for it.
