One other option (that I've used for furniture and other bulky items) is
uShip...
It's like eBay for shippers and they bid on shipping jobs. I've found
it's much more reasonable than
shipping via a Freight shipper, and allows me to bid on items I wouldn't be
able to purchase because of that.
