I have no idea if it counts as semi-modern, but when I wanted to cut my 
AIX teeth, I found a pizza-box sized 7011 and a copy of AIX 4.3.3. It's 
been several years since I fired it up, but I could certainly do so if 
you are curious about any specific aspect of it.
