[rescue] NeXTSTEP or OPENSTEP?

I just now attempted to request an OpenVMS license, I think I was
successful, as I am now awaiting to be contacted after my request is
reviewed - anyone know how long it should take after submission? I'm not in
a rush, but I am curious what to expect.

My notes on the process follow:

OpenVMS Hobbyist license How-to:

(Based on info at - http://labs.hoffmanlabs.com/node/1416 )

Telnet to 'decuserve.org'

Enter command REGISTRATION

Complete registration, at end note system-generated user id and password,
once noted, you will be logged off system

Telnet back too 'decuserve.org', when prompted enter previously noted id
and password - you will be asked to change your assigned password.

Once you complete a profile configuration process you will be dropped into
a DCL prompt, enter

$ HOBBYIST

And the system will report the information needed to request a free
hobbyist license. It will consist of the name of the charter organization
(DECUSERVE), your membership number (mine is six digits), and the last name
associated with the membership number - I assume that is used as a check,
just be sure your OpenVMS Hobbyist license request includes the same last
name to be sure.

You then logout of Decuserve.org and go to:

http://www.openvms.org/pages.php?page=Hobbyist

Answer all questions, including organization, membership number, and other
info.

Once you complete the form and submit it, you are told you will be
contacted.

I assume an email will be sent
