1950 and 2950 do have the reputation of being power hogs. I picked up the AMD based Dell cloud servers, they use about 110W for 2 CPUs, total of 12 cores, plus 4 drives. the 6100 which is a four node beast, uses only slightly more per node, with 48GB RAM and 2x L5520 CPUs. Cheers, Patrick
