[rescue] A fast *and* quiet SPARC system?

It's been so long I can't even remember the last time I had it on, but I
suspect a Blade 1000/2000 might suit your needs.

I have a blade 1000 and don't recall it being too loud, but my threshold for
noise has changed in the last few years.

I also have two quad CPU systems (essentially an E450 in a desktop case), but
I have no recollection on the noise they emit - they have been idle for
years.

I plan on holding on to my nicely outfitted V240 - it is a bit noisy, but with
two decent CPUs (1.5 GHz?) and 8 Gigs of RAM it still has some life left in it
IMHO.
