The second sentence is true.  I'm even willing to grant, arguendo, that
it accurately describes modern Japan.  But what does that have to do
with the first sentence?  You juxtapose them as though there were some
connection, but I can't see one.

If Japanese corporate culture is very different, maybe that's why they
"often kick their USA based competition in the butt".  (Maybe not, too,
but it's at least worth considering as an explanation.)

Your tone, to the extent that I'm getting one through text, seems to me
to carry undertext saying something like "and these things are bad", as
though that were relevant.  I certainly dislike some of the things you
listed, but, heck, there are major aspects of modern USA corporate
culture I dislike too - and, in any case, I don't see what your or my
opinion of corporate cultures has to do with the claims you are saying
you "don't agree with...at all".

Am I missing something?
