_Stock_ Solaris 7 doesn't; I've recently battled a recent 'glib' to compile
w/o IPv6. This is 7 11/99 + the 7_Recommended from Apr/07/06.

Solaris 8 has IPv6 out-of-the-box, we agree. It's a lot easier to compile
on a recent 8 than a 7. That, and gcc 4.7 is available (with enough recent
c++ feature for many packages) whereas 7 is stuck with 4.5...

So it was available as an add-on, which I didn't know. Cool :-)

Does anyone know where I could find the add-on and related patches for
recent (everything is relative :-) ) Solaris 7? Moving forward in time in
the Wayback Machine, I found a reference to the Solaris 7 FCS package ("To
load *IPv6 for Solaris* you will need to be running *Solaris 7 FCS * (with
no patches installed)"), but it won't work on updated Solaris apparently
("This patch will NOT work with any of the UPDATE releases of Solaris 7
such as 3/99 and 5/99"). Newer references only mention Solaris 8...
