AFAIK all the variants of ZFS in the wild are incompatible to some degree,
some more, some less. When they branched the ZFS code every fork made their
own incompatible changes. I would not try working on Solaris 10 ZFS with
anything but a Solaris 10 or 11 system. With S11 the changes from S10 are at
least upward compatible. Not so with OpenSolaris, IllumOS, etc.
