SGI was.  Except they (I was there at the time) were really very bad at
it.  ;-)

Ironically SGI (or "Sqi" as we spelled it internally after the font
change, when no management were around) might have been better off had
they concentrated on server gear instead of clinging desperately to
graphics and workstations; but it was probably a lost cause in any case.

Too much management.  Or too much of the wrong kind.  [shrug]

Painful as it was to ride it out, I miss the 90's era unix days.

Hope all the Sun & SGI manuals arrived OK, Dave.  I think that might
have been the last of my docs from those days.  I'm glad they found a
good home, but sad to have another part of my history go away.
