My understanding is that they are still used in viz fx.
Speaking of SGI and ebay, it's been a really long time since I saw
anything but parts for the larger/older systems. Now I'm glad I
picked up a bunch of machines a while back while they were still
available and decomissioned machines from some companies.
Mostly what I see on ebay are Indys and the occasional Indigo^2
(usually teal), Octane and O2. Less frequent are Indigo. I haven't
seen a Personal Iris for some time and haven't seen a deskside onyx
forever and the fridge size Onyx/Challenge in a coon's age.
