Hi Richard,

not sure if you still need more info, but you can safely run the
480MHz CPUs in the Netra 1125. Your machine has an Ultra 60
mainboard and the cooling for a rackmount environment. You
can easily run dual 480 in a regular Ultra 60 at 480MHz.
The only drawback is that there is no way to use the full 8MB
of cache. It will only use 4MB.
Upgrading the OPB to the latest version is probably a good 
idea. Installing the 480MHz CPUs in an E450 also requires
an OBP update IIRC.

Running Solaris 8 is oldschool and very appropriate.
