Phil,
I've done something very similar on my V240 and didn't seem to run into these
problems. B I posted a write-up of it once here... I'll try to dig that up in
a bit. B But anyway, my first thought is that you should be suspicious of your
multilane cable. B 2nd thought is, make sure you know the configuration of
your HBA's ports. B The one thing I remember to be odd -- and may or may not
play into your situation -- is that the Solaris 10 LSI driver man page claims
it doesn't support port expanders, yet the HBA I am using has expanders and
seems to work fine.
