I'm not sure about Sun cards but various NCR/Symbios/LSI Logic cards are 
well supported and bootable. Look for anything with the SYM53C875 chipset 
(some others are supported but I can't seem to find a complete list online) 
- I used one with good success in an Ultra 10 many moons ago.
