Hi Salik

Do not confuse Sunos and Solaris, Sunos was the base O/S, Solaris was the base
O/S + Sunbs version of X Windows + Window manager. The early Sunos for sparc
ie Sunos 4.X was included in Solaris 1.X, Solaris 2.X had Sunos 5.X, after
Solaris 2.6 they dropped the 2., so you get Solaris 7 etc.

Try asking on The Rescue List <rescue at sunhelp.org> for someone with a working
tape drive.
