I dunno; for all that it is (as here) sometimes annoying, I see it as
having good effects too.  It cuts down greatly on the drivel, though
that admittedly may be more an effect of stripping HTML alternatives
than an effect of stripping attachments.

It _is_ a relief to not have to wade through the latest in
multipart/alternative mail with paragraph-length lines and whatnot
here.  And it seems somehow, well, _appropriate_, given what list this
is.  (Though I do wish it would reject mail that isn't in the character
set it's marked as being in.)

I'm going to hazard a guess you're using recent bloatware on recent,
ridiculously overmuscled hardware (both, of course, from this hobby's
perspective).  If you have no problem with that, then you likely won't
have a problem with big "free" hosting.  But, well, I'm using a SS20 as
my main desktop machine....

In any case, the day this moves to big ad-infested "free" hosting -
Google is perhaps the worst, but by no means the only - is the day I
drop out.  Not, fortunately for me, that that seems likely. :)
