Although not directly equivalent, and pretty rare these days, the RasterFlex SBus cards are staggeringly good for 2D-accelerated graphics - but only under Solaris 2.x, AFAIK. My SS10s love 'em, because they are noticeably faster than the Ultra-10 (Series 3) builtin PGX24. -- Mike Spooner
