I have a small adapter that lets me put a SATA disk onto a SCSI bus.
I'm using it live now for my SS20; it's running off a relatively cheap
"1TB" (actually 931G) laptop SATA drive.

I've actually got two of them, so I can describe it in more detail.
The PCB is pretty close to 1"x4". On one side, it has a SATA socket
and some foam padding; on the other, a 68-pin high-density SCSI
connector (the one like the SS20/SS10 SCSI connector except wider), a
power connector (the usual 4-pin peecee floppy power connector), and
four pairs of pins which specify SCSI ID via jumpers or switches. Both
sides are also populated with assorted other components.

Its major chip is covered by a glued-on heatsink, so I can't describe
it. It has a second one which is marked

ACARD <-- This line looks like a company logo
	ARC772-BMCCG91300-2 LF
	)ACARD 2009
	0914 TAIWAN

Silkscreened on the PCB I find "7730A", "ACARD SCSI-SATA Bridge", and
"Rev:3.1". It's also got a sticker with "Addonics" and "QC OK" on it.

I got them from someone in the hobby who was trying to unload a bunch
of (Sun or at least Sun-compatible) SCSI stuff, and I don't know where
they came from beyond that, so I can't help when it comes to getting
more. But perhaps knowing they were once a live product may help.
