Peter,

Just be aware that some of the older S bus machines have
very limited clearance above the NVRAM, so that solution
may not provide enough clearance for add on S bus
interfaces. Great idea otherwise.

My preferred solution is to epoxy a small battery holder
onto the end of the existing NVRAM, which also allows
battery replacement without removing power in many cases.
It's ow cost, provides a neat job and only takes
around an hour to install...
