Some.

I figured out what to put in your nvramrc to get resolutions other than
the ones Sun provided for.  I wrote a DDX layer for MIT X that gives
8bpp and 24bpp windows on the screen at the same time.  I added
rastercons support for it to NetBSD 1.4T, that being what I run on my
SPARCs.

That's most of it.  Someone else has figured out how to use the SUNW,sx
(not strictly part of the cg14, but closely associated with it) as a
blitter for graphics to at least some extent.  One of my to-do list
projects is to figure that out enough to add such support to my DDX
layer and/or to my rastercons console support.
