[rescue] Which current Linux works on SB2000?

Hi
Just to clarify in case of confusion. The Blade 1000/2000/280 all used the
same motherboard, the 1000 used the earlier 750/900Mhz non Cu CPUs and the
2000 used the later 900/1015/1050/1200 Mhz Cu CPUs. The 1000/2000 chassis were
the same apart from outer plastics. The 280 could come with any of the CPUs.
There were updated versions of the OBP which allowed the faster CPUs to be
used as time went by.
I am sure others can add to this with odd bits I have missed!

use an external 711 SCSI enclosure.

panic, but random process will crash in the background, and it will sometimes
get stuck on shutdown. My other fireplane system (a V490) it kernel panics on
boot, same with my E3000's and any multiprocessor sun4m system (although I
think it boots if you less than 128MB of RAM).

SB1000/2000 boxes.BB This seems to have been resolved, at least in Gentoo,
with some users reporting no problems with recent releases. I note that Gentoo
released a new version a few days ago, so I shall try that one.
