Yes. Or you can replace the EPROM by an EEPROM. I've used cheap
NAND-flash on some of my SPARCstations.
In case you don't have the 2.25 ROM image, it is available from the
internet archive:
https://archive.org/download/sunshack_bootroms
The collection is somewhat incomplete, but the regular 2.25 ROM (not the
ROSS 2.25R) is there.
