The SBusFPGA V1.2 has been made and tested (somewhat) now, and is
working as hoped for.

It can access more interrupt lines (there's some work to do on the SW
side to improve the drivers and use those), has a built-in USB port
with VBus for the USB Host Controller (micro-B, a small cable is used
to turn it into a female type A), and a Pmod connector for further
expansion. (and fewer leds, I/O pins had to come from somewhere).
Pictures are here: <https://github.com/rdolbeau/SBusFPGA/tree/main/Pictures>.

Still missing good support for the micro-sd in NetBSD (let alone the PROM).

The Pmod connector enabled me to test this with a very limited VGA
output (it only has 2 bits per color channel, so colors are very
limited).
The cg3 emulation works as a console in the PROM & NetBSD, and even
with X11 (very slowly of course, it's still only a cg3 :-) and I can
use a USB mouse, too!) - and it supports up to at least 1280x1024
(some internal timings are too tight for 1920x1080 at this stage).
So now, it just needs a board with a 'proper' output.

... and maybe some acceleration to turn it into a cg6 :-)

Cordially,
