[rescue] Sun 13w3 to VGA to HDMI - still No Joy

My SPARC10 has a CG6 frame buffer whose output can be set to any of the 
resolution/frequency combinations it supports in the EEPROM. The command 
at the "ok" prompt is setenv output-device screen:r1024x768x60

I bought another 13w3 to vga adaptor (sold by monoprice) which is highly 
praised on Amazon - by folks who seemed to know what they are doing and 
it works wonderfully well on the VGA input into my HP monitor.

It does not work with the GANA VGA to HDMI converter feeding the SAMSUNG.

The GANA VGA to HDMI DOES work with my old armada m300.

I've discovered that B&H Photovideo sells many vga to hdmi convertors 
some of which are quite pricey.

my thought was to follow Ray Brooks' recommendation and buy a Kramer 
VP-719XL from Ebay and see how that works.

BTW Ray, what are you using between the SPARC20 and the kramer?
